A national center of the same name will appear on the site of the exhibition “Russia”

Vladimir Putin signed an order on the construction of the Russia National Center back in early July. The other day, he hurried officials to implement the project: the Kremlin's official website published an order to submit a construction plan by the end of September. In addition, the President gave three months to find contractors for the construction and design of the future center.The deputy head of the presidential administration, Sergei Kirienko, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and the general director of the Russia exhibition, Natalia Virtuozova, have been appointed responsible for the execution of the order.

The National Center “Russia” is a project aimed at creating a new cultural, historical and educational space. It is supposed to include various thematic zones dedicated to the history, culture and nature of Russia.

The center will appear on the site of the exhibition “Russia”, which was held from November 4, 2023 to July 8, 2024. The exposition was dedicated to the history, culture and natural riches of Russia and divided into four main zones: Multinational Russia, Natural Potential, Technological and Scientific Potential and Cultural Heritage. During the period of the exhibition, 18.5 million people visited VDNKh.
