MetalExpo 2024

The 30th International Industrial Exhibition Metal-Expo will be held this year from October 29 to November 1 in Expocentre. According to the organizers, this time the scale of the event will grow by 30% compared to last year. About 1000 metallurgical and engineering companies from 35 countries are expected to take part in the exhibition. Among the participants are leading market players, including: Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, Severstal, United Metallurgical Company, Metalloinvest, Mechel, Ural Steel, Elektrostal Iron and Steel Works, KUMZ, KRAMZ, EZTM, Belorussian Iron and Steel Works, Akron-Holding, and the metallurgical division of Rosatom. The whole exposition will occupy more than 50 000 m2, and the number of visitors, according to the organizers' forecasts, will exceed 30 000 people.

Metal-Expo 2024 will cover 20 areas:

1. Ferrous metals: production of ferrous metallurgy products (billets, long and flat products, pipes)
2. Non-ferrous metals: production of non-ferrous metallurgy products (raw materials, secondary metals, semi-finished products, rolled products, profiles)
3. Special steels and alloys: flat and long products, pipes
4. High-end products: coated sheets, bent sections, metal structures, etc.
5. Metalware: wire, ropes, mesh, fasteners, etc.
6. Metal traders and warehouse metal trading with ferrous and non-ferrous metal products.
7. Equipment and technologies for metallurgical industry
8. Equipment and technologies for mining industry
9. Lifting and transportation equipment
10. Raw materials and supplies for metallurgy: iron ore, ferroalloys, non-ferrous metal ores, coke, etc.
11. Collection and processing of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals
12. Transportation and logistics in metallurgy and metal trading
13. Metal service centers in metallurgy and metal trading
14. Sheet and section processing: cutting, profiling, bending, welding
15. Equipment and technologies for metal service centers
16. Welding materials, equipment and technologies
17. Refractories, technical ceramics for metallurgy and foundry production
18. Fundamental and applied scientific developments in the field of ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy and nanotechnologies
19. Industry associations and unions, mass media, IT-technologies, Internet commerce, automation of production and business processes

In addition to the exhibition exposition, Metal-Expo 2024 will offer a large-scale business program. For example, on the first day of the event, the 8th International Conference “Tank Building: Problems, Solutions, Innovations” and the International Conference “Metal Frames of Buildings: Modern Technologies and Constructions, Risks of Operation” will be held.
