The government has approved the directions of the industry development until 2030

The main goals of the congress and exhibition industry for the next 7 years are:

1. Popularization of domestic goods and services;
2. Promotion of achievements of science and education on foreign and domestic markets.

For this purpose, according to the government, it is necessary to take a number of steps, including:

• Improve the country's congress and exhibition infrastructure;
• improving the quality and accessibility of congress and exhibition services;
• modernizing the collection and analysis of statistical data;
• strengthening training for the industry.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia will present a general plan with specific steps for the development of the industry in six months. In addition, it is assumed that each region will independently develop a program for the development and support of the exhibition business, as well as promotion of local exhibition brands.
